I pretty much live in oversized sweaters and leggings, but I also love dressing up. My preferred look when dolling up is Old Hollywood; that classy, sophisticated glam perfected by people like Jean Harlow and Rita Hayworth. Usually, though, I can be found curled up with a big mug of tea, laptop in my lap, no makeup, hair tossed up in a haphazard (and not even stylishly faked) bun, and buried in loose, too-large sweaters or cardigans and a pair of black or grey leggings. I do most of my shopping at Goodwill and local thrift stores, not because I'm quirky or anything, but simply because I'm thrifty and all my local Goodwills seem to have the inside track with stores like Target, meaning I can get a $24 dress I've fallen in love with for like, $6. I only wear makeup when I'm not at work or going somewhere special (so, almost never) and when I do, it's a very natural look, if not the glamourous look I've already mentioned. I love jewel tones and neutrals, with bright pops of color.
